Investigation Fees

Hourly Rate

  • Standard Investigation (Desktop, OSINT, Factual, Missing Persons): $120 per hour (minimum 2-hour engagement).
  • Criminal or Coronial Case Reviews: $150 per hour (includes document analysis, report writing, and reviews).
  • Witness Interviews / Statement Taking (Factual Investigations): $130 per hour (plus travel if applicable).

Flat Fees (Indicative Only)

  • Basic Desktop Investigation / Background Check: $480 (up to 4 hours, includes report).
  • Missing Persons – Preliminary Search & Assessment: $550 (includes skip tracing, social media sweep, public records scan).
  • Criminal Case Review – Initial Brief Review & Opinion: $750 (includes up to 5 hours of file review and summary report).
  • Coronial Case Review – Initial File Review & Consultation: $850 (includes review of coronial findings, autopsy reports, and timeline).

Additional Charges

  • Travel Time (if required for interviews or site visits): $90 per hour (more if outside metropolitan area).
  • Surveillance (if subcontracted or minimal): From $100 per hour
  • Court / Tribunal Attendance (if applicable): $200 per hour or $1,200 per day.
